Gorgeous courtyard and room. More than I could have asked for for the price. I would definitely stay here again. Loved that there was a safe in the room we could use.

What was the highlight of Hotel Real Salamanca

nothing, except that the guy at the reception was kind

horrible experience: the bed was dirty, the pillow and sheets were dirty, the room was dusty and full of mosquitoes, and the water from the shower was cold. Really disappointing. After 20 mins I booked another hotel and ran away!

What was the highlight of Hotel Real Salamanca

I liked the look of the property. Walk through doors from the city streets into a small town like setting of its own. The layout is perfect. Loved the high ceilings and having a refrigerator. Good location.

The shower head was really high up. Had to remember the multiple steps up/down from bathroom then kitchen area so I didn’t fall when I needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Staff paid for a cab and helped me find other accommodations.

Staff cancelled my reservation because could not get credit card to work. Did not email or call to let me know. When went to check in was notified that my room had been reserved by someone else.

Location is great. Room is spacious and bed is comfortable.

We booked the hotel 2 months in advanced, but when arriving were told that there was a problem with the booking system and there was no room for us... They had arranged a room in a hotel 7 blocks away but apparently with higher standards. As our point in staying there was exactly the location we insisted and they end up "finding" a room for us. The rooms are ok, but need some updating.

What was the highlight of Hotel Real Salamanca

Key points: Fantastic location and kitchen (no microwave in the deluxe suite. I don't know why they keep showing pictures of one) *This is not meant as complaints, but just facts for those wondering: No a/c and windows open means mosquitoes and noise (avoidable with earplugs and sleeping underneath the sheet). The shower faucet is difficult to use. (JUST PULL STRAIGHT OUT) and the water takes about 10 minutes to heat up. You must ring to be let in, but there is always someone available 24 hours. Drinking water is not provided. Wifi is good. ---I prefer to stay here when I stay in cdmx. I like the location and it's one of the most affordable places to stay with a kitchen. This time, there was a problem with my room and I was offered another room at another hotel, but it was too far away from Condesa/Roma. I was then offered an upgraded room instead. I really appreciated the customer service.

I think there are a couple of improvements that can be made: The bedding is old and worn (holes). There is no screen on the bedroom windows to keep out mosquitoes.

Oscar, the administrator, was very helpful and called the airport when my suitcases were delayed for 5 days. The whole staff only nice people. The fact that it has a courtyard makes a long stay in the same hotel very pleasant.

The room was large and had a very comfortable bed. I enjoyed a lot!!They have fridge, Microwave, glasses, dishes, and what else you need for cooking.

What was the highlight of Hotel Real Salamanca

Location is great with easy access to nearby sights as well as the Metro. Having the ability to make a simple meal saves money praying out all the time. Nice quiet apartment despite being in a busy area.

Needs a few more bits in the kitchen than currently provided e.g. only o e glass provided, no dishcloth, no dish washing detergent or tea towel (although one was provided on request)

Good mattress

First room was very noisy...right on the side walk, I mean window was on hip level of passing people. Second room spacious quiet, but first night no sleep because of Mosquitos, next day we killed around 20! Mosquitoes...and so we slept well that night.
